Promoting affordable housing
We believe everyone should be able to afford a safe, comfortable place to live.
Working with local partners, we provide housing for people at risk of homelessness. We also offer independent living for people aged over 55 through our two housing schemes.
In 2021/22
109 people were housed in our independent living schemes. 80% of residents said they really enjoy living there and feel safe and secure.
33 people were housed in our social housing properties.
We helped 45 people and families to buy essential household items including washing machines, beds and flooring, and provided starter packs for people on low incomes moving to new properties.
