We provide three types of funding to local schools and partner organisations across Elmbridge, as well as a direct grant vocational fund.

Please note, we no longer consider any direct grant requests except Direct Grant Vocational Funding

We award grants to local charities, schools and organisations who are tackling poverty and inequality in Elmbridge. Find out more about our funding priorities and how to apply.

We are currently accepting applications  

Our two independent living schemes offer accommodation for people over 55 who have a connection to Elmbridge. Find out more about our schemes or register your interest.

Note, availability of flats is limited

Walton Charity has a small number of social housing properties for people in Elmbridge who are at risk of homelessness.

These properties are managed by our partners Rentstart and Transform Housing


Our community allotment and woodland projects offer local people and community groups opportunities to get outdoors and active. No experience necessary!

You can apply online or ask for a referral from a local organisation.

We own over 400 plots around Walton and Hersham. These are managed by Walton Allotment Association and available to rent for anyone who lives locally.

Walton & Hersham Foodbank provides emergency food for local people in crisis. Find out how to get a foodbank referral.

Working families across Elmbridge can also be referred to The Bridge for food and other support.

Charities House, in Walton on Thames, offers office space and meeting rooms for local charities and organisations.

We also have a number of buildings and outdoor spaces available for local community groups to use.
